Every order ships in a heat-shield bubble mailer that buffers against temperature swings in transit, and many products are first packed in a rigid, felt-lined magnetic-closure box before going inside it — packaging varies slightly for items that don't fit the standard box. Research materials don't need to be kept cold during shipping, despite the common concern: most of what we ship is lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder, which stays stable at ambient temperature for the duration of transit, and that stability is exactly why we ship this way instead of using cold packs. Once your order arrives, the storage guidance on the product page picks up from there.

Orders placed before 7:00 AM Central Time, Monday - Friday, ship the same day, and anything placed after that cutoff, or over a weekend or holiday, ships the next business day. Orders of $100 or more qualify for free UPS Ground shipping, and flat-rate UPS Ground covers everything below that threshold with the same transit time either way.
