TB-500, an N-acetylated seven-amino-acid fragment (Ac-LKKTETQ-OH) of thymosin beta-4, is a synthetic research peptide supplied as a lyophilized powder for laboratory and analytical research. Each lot is independently tested by an ISO/IEC 17025:2017-accredited laboratory, with current and historical lot specific results documented in the PekCura Labs COA Library. Research Grade TB-500 is intended solely for laboratory, analytical, and scientific research, not for human or veterinary use.

TB-500 is a synthetic heptapeptide; it is a fragment made up of seven-amino acids specifically corresponding to residues 17-23 of the 43-amino-acid protein thymosin beta-4. The sequence, Leu-Lys-Lys-Thr-Glu-Thr-Gln, carries an acetyl group on its N-terminus and a free carboxylic acid at its C-terminus, denoted Ac-LKKTETQ-OH. The N-terminal acetylation is a defining structural feature confirmed during identity testing, distinguishing this synthetic fragment from the native, unmodified sequence found within the full-length protein.

Every lot of TB-500 at PekCura Labs is third-party tested by an independent, ISO/IEC 17025:2017-accredited laboratory, and is evaluated across six categories: identity by LC-MS, purity and quantity by HPLC-UV-Vis, sterility per USP <71>, endotoxins by LAL assay, and heavy metals by ICP-MS. PekCura Labs maintains a minimum 99% purity standard, and the reported results are published in a lot-specific TB-500 COA that can be accessed anytime in our COA Library, or by scanning the QR code located on the vial or product box. This lot-specific documentation connects the material supplied with the analytical results reported for that batch.

PekCura Labs supplies Research Grade TB-500 solely as research-use-only laboratory material. It is not intended for human or veterinary use.

What does the TB-500 product label refer to?

TB-500 refers specifically to a synthetic, N-acetylated seven-amino-acid peptide fragment (Ac-LKKTETQ-OH), corresponding to residues 17-23 of the 43-amino-acid protein thymosin beta-4. It is not the full-length protein; the two materials have distinct chemical identities, distinct CAS numbers, and distinct molecular weights. Product listings and documentation for TB-500 refer specifically to this synthetic fragment. TB-500 is available to buy online for research directly through this page, with lot-specific documentation provided for every batch.

Is TB-500 available in a GMP Manufactured version?

Yes. PekCura Labs offers both Research Grade and GMP Manufactured TB-500. GMP Manufactured TB-500 is produced in a GMP-certified facility using documented current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) controls. The Research Grade version is not supplied with the GMP Manufactured designation; however, both grades undergo the same independent, lot-specific testing for identity, purity, quantity, sterility, endotoxins, and heavy metals. See the GMP Manufactured TB-500 product page for available GMP Manufactured vial amounts and testing documentation.

Is TB-500 third-party tested?

Yes. At PekCura Labs, every lot of Research Grade TB-500 undergoes independent third-party testing by an ISO/IEC 17025:2017-accredited laboratory. Testing covers six categories: identity, purity, quantity, sterility, endotoxins, and heavy metals. The laboratory uses LC-MS to verify identity, HPLC-UV-Vis to measure purity and quantity, USP <71> testing for sterility, LAL testing for endotoxins, and ICP-MS for heavy metals. This six-category testing provides a more complete analytical profile than purity testing alone. Lot-specific TB-500 test results are available in the QC panel above.

Where can I find the Certificate of Analysis for TB-500?

A lot-specific TB-500 Certificate of Analysis (COA) can be accessed by scanning the QR code on the vial label. The QR code opens the testing record associated with the lot number printed on that vial. All current and historical TB-500 testing results can be viewed or downloaded directly in the PekCura Labs COA Library, searchable by lot number. Each published COA contains results from an independent, ISO/IEC 17025:2017-accredited laboratory and corresponds to a specific TB-500 lot.
